Armed Forces Hugely Mis-Sold Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) – Army Claims & Army Compensation

If you or your partner are in The Royal Navy, Royal Army or Royal Air Force (Armed Forces) (UK Army) and have taken out a credit agreement (car finance, credit cards, loans or mortgages) in the last 10 years, then there is a good chance you will have been mis sold Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) and being in the Armed Forces (UK Army) means you could be entitled to £1000′s in repayments (Army and RAF Compensation) and compensation,Armed Forces (UK Army) in the UK are believed to be owed just over £65 Million in Mis sold Payment Protection Insurance (PPI).

What is PPI?

Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) is designed to cover your credit repayments (Car Finance, Credit Cards, Loans, Mortgages) in the event of injury, redundancy or sickness. However, being in the Armed Forces (UK Army) means you should never have been sold Payment Protection Insurance (PPI).

Why Have The Armed Forces (UK Army) been Mis-Sold PPI?

Being in The Royal Navy, Royal Army or Royal Air Force (Armed Forces/UK Army and Army Claims) means you are classed as a Civil Servant and in the event of injury, redundancy or sickness, your employer (UK Government) will cover your repayments.

Therefore, your bank or creditor should NOT have sold you Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) as the main benefit of PPI is to cover your repayments (Army Compensation and RAF Compensation) if you are sick.

Your bank should have checked to see if you had cover elsewhere before they sold you the policy and means they have mis-sold you your policy and you could be entitled to £1000′s in repayments and compensation.

Even if you asked for PPI, your bank should have known that being in the Armed Forces (UK Army), means that your policy could never be claimed on and was therefore worthless.

You will have been offered Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) when you took out the Credit agreement. However, primarily because you are in the Armed Forces (UK Army), you should not have even been considered for the policy as it would be deemed useless because you are part of the Armed Forces.

Even if you came to make a claim on the PPI policy, and you were either still in The Armed Forces (UK Army) or you were in the Armed Forces (UK Army) when you took out the policy, you would not be able to make a claim. As being in the Armed Forces (UK Army) means that you are covered in the same instances as PPI would cover you for.

This means that because you are part of the Armed Forces (UK Army) you technically would have two PPI policies running at the same time, deeming the one you hold with your creditor useless.

Armed Forces (UK Army) or civillian servants are occupations that banks and other creditors should not try and sell PPI policies to, and this is because you are covered by your employer so the Policy would mean pure profit for the banks.
